Feasibility studies are an invaluable tool for identifying issues that impact approvals, design, budget and schedule before they are encountered. The Feasibility Study is an optional service that occurs at the inception of the project, as part of the predesign and schematic design phases. We provide the client with a preliminary design, budget and schedule for the project and can bring the project through the entitlement process. Doing so removes the guesswork and allows the client to make informed-decisions about how to proceed, as well as providing a level of predictability.
S+B James incorporates green design into every project to the maximum extent possible within the owner’s budget and project goals. The design department has a Green Globes Professional, Green Principles Compliance Professional and will soon have a LEED Accredited Professional on staff to assist clients in obtaining related green project certifications for their project. As a longtime member of the U.S. Green Building Council, we stay apprised of the green design standards and technology.
