2016 American Builders Excellence in Design Honorable Mention

This Design-Build project was a ground-up new building utilizing pre-engineered steel building structures.  The building encompasses a show room, sales & management offices, merchandising area, employee training, a full service shop and an express service shop.  The building was designed to meet the Honda corporate brand identification standards throughout. The 30,000+ sf building layout is both efficient and economical, and establishes clear zones between customer and employee, shop and showroom – the project was completed for approximately 5.3 million dollars.  The well-appointed interior is open and airy providing a pleasant atmosphere whether shopping for a new or used car or waiting for periodic vehicle maintenance.  Energy efficiency was easily achieved through the use of insulated metal panels throughout the shop exterior walls and skylights for natural daylight in the shop.  Our in-house design team worked closely with Lithia and the Honda Team to achieve an overall cohesive design that set the standard  for new dealership buildings in the Rogue Valley.
