Maintenance and Operations Shop

The GJUESD Maintenance and Operations Shop Project involved the construction of a 60 ft. x 100 ft. (6,000 SF) pre-engineered metal building and associated site improvements to serve as the new school district Maintenance Shop. The building will be equipped with two maintenance bays, a shop area, an office, and restroom facilities to accommodate the operational needs of the district. Site improvements will encompass the installation of underground utilities, grading, and asphalt paving to facilitate vehicle circulation and parking on the premises.

Key components of the site infrastructure included the extension of domestic water, sanitary sewer, and storm drain systems from existing services to support the operational requirements of the new facility. Additionally, a new water service was provided from the main to supply the building’s automatic fire sprinkler system and an additional site fire hydrant, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and enhancing emergency response capabilities.

GJUESD is equipped with a state-of-the-art Maintenance and Operations Shop that meets their operational needs and contributes to the overall efficiency of the district’s facilities management. We collaborated closely with the GJUESD to bring their vision to fruition and deliver a facility that supports their mission of providing a safe and conducive learning environment for students and staff.
