S+B James Construction provided design-build services for the conversion of the former Roxy Ann Lanes bowling alley into the Roxy’s Bar & Grill Casino. The project transformed the existing structure into a modern gaming and dining destination while addressing critical structural challenges within the building.
Early phases of the project included emergency roof stabilization, where crews reinforced and repaired multiple compromised bowstring trusses to ensure the structural integrity of the facility. Following stabilization, construction progressed with the build-out of a new gaming floor, creating an updated and functional space designed to support casino operations.
Additional scope included renovations to the restaurant and office areas, improving both customer-facing amenities and operational spaces for staff. Through careful coordination and phased construction, the team successfully repurposed the former bowling alley into a vibrant entertainment venue that integrates gaming, dining, and administrative functions within the 21,460-square-foot facility.
