2014 American Builders Excellence in Design

For the last 35 years, Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church held Mass out of a converted fruit stand. As the church grew, the planning of a newer and larger church to serve the community more effectively began. It was important to Shepherd of the Valley that the entire project employ local workers, materials, and equipment. The building needed to be large enough for future growth but maintain an intimate family feel. S+B James kept his project on budget and within the expected completion date.
