Camas Valley Charter School Classroom & Gym Seismic Rehab

Seismic rehabilitation and remodel of the existing Camas Valley Charter School Classroom Building and Camas Valley Charter School Gymnasium.  The existing Classroom building is estimated to have originally been built in the 1920s.  The building is a multistory concrete and wood building compromising approximately 30,000-square-feet for the Classrooms and connector hallways.

The Gymnasium is approximately 10,000 square feet with attached locker rooms.  Existing roofs were removed, and plywood sheathing installed over existing deck with a new roof install. Additional connection hardware was added to strengthen the connection between the top of walls and roofs diaphragms to provide out-of-plane and in-plane support.  Interior wall finishes removed for install of new plywood shear walls with new finishes.  Foundation anchorage to existing and new shear walls.  Installation of new Gymnasium flooring along with electrical and plumbing upgrades throughout.
