Zymergen – 1440 Stanford – Chem Lab

S+B James completed a renovation of an existing warehouse space, turning it into a new chemistry, application, and AC lab. Our team led the design-build effort with the following trades: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process piping, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, security, communication, and structural. All the infrastructure to support new fume hoods and lab spaces including new make up air unit, exhaust fan, nitrogen generation stations and distribution, argon distribution, clean dry air (CDA) distribution, etc.
